What should ship owners expect from their P&I Club?

club

The video, produced by Shipowners’ Club, outlines the service a ship owner should expect from the Club.

Entering in to a Protection and Indemnity (P&I) relationship with a mutual insurer of marine liabilities represents a partnership. A mutual P&I Club works with operators via their brokers, protecting them in relation to their operational liabilities and indemnifying them for their losses.

Shipowners’ Club is a global insurer for small and specialist vessels, that first began providing mutual P&I insurance in 1855.
