Transport Malta's MSIU issued an investigation report on the collision and subsequent foundering of the fishing vessel 'Mohammed Badry' off Tunisia in July 2018 that killed one fisherman. The report stresses that the attention of the bridge look-outs on both vessels was likely directed elsewhere.

Germany's Federal Bureau of Maritime Casualty Investigation (BSU) drew operators attention in a recent collision incident involving a container ship and a fishing vessel on the river Elbe off Stadersand earlier in 2019. The BSU highlighted issues associated with watertight integrity.

UK MAIB focuses on a collision that took place between an inflatable boat and a mooring buoy, on River Thames in London. The collision resulted to two passengers and the boat's two crews, with minor injuries, that were later transmitted to the hospital. In the meantime, the commercially operated rigid inflatable boat suffered severe damages.

The US Coast Guard responded to a boat collision that resulted to four injured passengers aboard two vessels on Sunset Lake near Wildwood, Monday, July 15. The injured passengers were transmitted to Schooner Island Marina where local EMS were standing by to provide assistance. 

The US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) issued an investigation report on the collision of the fishing vessel 'Polaris' with the tanker 'Tofteviken' in the Atlantic Ocean in May 2018. NTSB identified a poor lookout as key cause of the accident, in breach of COLREGs. 

Maritime New Zealand ordered an Auckland recreational boatie to pay $5,050 in fines and emotional harm payments after causing a collision on the Waitematā Harbour. Maritime NZ Northern Regional Compliance Manager, Neil Rowarth, stated that Mr Hutchings had put the lives of others in danger by acting recklessly.

Japan Transport Safety Board (JTSB) issued an investigation report on the collision of two container ships while Hanshin Port, Kobe Area, Japan, in May 2018. The incident resulted to no fatalities, but it highlighted issues associated with poor communication and misjudgment. 

Two bulk carriers, 'Spring Snow' and 'Klima', collided on 4 July within Singapore port waters. The incident took place while the two vessels were performing bunkering operations. The damages to 'Spring Snow' are not known, while 'Klima' sustained hull breach in the cargo hold area, as well as water ingress. 

Two passengers were injured, one of them seriously, after the airboat 'Gale Force' collided with a tree, during tourism operations on Sweets Lagoon, Northern Territory, at about 1010 hours on 22 June 2019. The ATSB has commenced an investigation in the collision.

The inland container ship Yu Hang 18 collided with the berthed bulk carrier Odigitria, near Zhenjiang, on July 6. Both ships sustained damages, while 7 containers fell from Yu Hang 18. According to initial information, the accident took place as the container ship lost control.
