A container vessel flying the flag of Hong Kong and owned by Taiwan's Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation was involved in a major incident on 16th March while attempting to dock at the Evyap Port located to the east of Istanbul, Turkey.

UK Marine Investigation Branch (MAIB) has published an investigation report, of the collision between general cargo vessel Scot Explorer and gas carrier Happy Falcon.

A German inland container vessel, the Monika Deymann, collided with the Willemsbrug bridge in Rotterdam Port.

As UK MAIB reports in its most recent Safety Digest, it was another busy day of operations for a workboat at an offshore wind farm. Sailing early, the workboat was due to transfer two teams to carry out maintenance tasks on two different wind turbines.
