James Langley joined the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) in 2009 with responsibility for Manning and Training issues. James managed employer representation during the most recent STCW Convention review and is now a
Senior Adviser of Marine Operations with responsibility for Passenger ships as well as involvement in Safety and Nautical issues, including ECDIS, Life Saving Appliances and Navigational issues.
Prior to joining ICS, James started his career at sea and has extensive experience on a range of vessels including Passenger and Freight Ferries, High Speed Craft and Cruise ships. James also has a BSc in Marine Operations.
