About me

Anja Shortland joined the department of Economics and Finance at Brunel University in September 2006. She obtained an M.Eng from Oxford and her MSc and PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She previously worked at the University of Leicester and taught at Oxford, LSE and SOAS. Anja's main research interest is the interaction between political conditions, institutions and economic outcomes.
